I was rushed to Sherman Oaks Hospital on Oct 16, 2023, about 1am. early Monday morning. Food poisoning after eating Shrimp Scampi Linguini at Bubba Gump Shrimp on Santa Monica Pier on Sunday afternoon. I FELT LIKE I WAS DYING. The sickness was so violent and painful.
I was extremely dehydrated. My son Braxton got sick also. He ate Crab & Shrimp Boil. I called 911. When Paramedic arrived, they could not transport both of us because i had care of my gr'children at the time, who were asleep. Paramedic recommended that I be taken so my son stayed back with my gr'children to call their parents. Before calling Paramedic, I called Bubba Gump Restaurant, spoke to manager, and was told I would receive a call from their Corporate office. I want my $105 plus $30 tip back. We are still sick days later. Needless to say, we will never EVER eat at Bubba Gump. Food poisoning update: On October 18, 2023, I responded to the "Owner" of Bubba Gump Shrimp who responded to my review posted on Google requesting that i put in an email explaining the circumstances of the day of the incident. On October 19, 2023, the Marketing Team of Bubba Gump Shrimp responded to my email via email saying that they would look into the matter. In the meantime, during the week, me & my son are still feeling awful in our gut with diarrhea. On October 20, 2023, we went to Urgent Care in Woodland Hills, CA. We saw Dr. He was so caring and concerned. He was also shocked to find that the ER doc, (October 16, 2023) did not prescribe for me the antibiotics for bacteria. Been taking the 2 different meds 2-3x's a day, hoping we will be well soon. To date, no further contact from Bubba Gump, who is owned by Landry's Inc. In Houston, TX

We Ordered peel and eat shrimp as well as shrimp scampi. Within one hour I was violently ill with intense stomach pain, diarrhea, vomiting and passed out due to the intense stomach cramps. This took place on Wednesday January 27 at 5:00 pm. I’ve been in bed for two days don’t eat here ever!!

So I was with a school group went to bubba grumps at California Santa Monica beach at 5 we all got food and fish And chips I hated the fish so I assume that’s what caused it afterwards five mins after my stomache started hurting real painfully
When I got to a bathroom it was constipation and more hurting
Never eating fish again
He staff were so nice so it hurts me to say this

The Coastal Companies dba Hearn Kirkwood has voluntarily initiated a recall of its Egg Salad Sandwich due to an undeclared allergen. The product was distributed to institutions, hospitals, and retailers across multiple states including DC, FL, MA, MD, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, and VA in the
United States. The recall was initiated after it was discovered that a Tuna Salad Sandwich was mislabeled as an Egg Salad Sandwich, leading to an undeclared allergen of fish (Tuna).
The product in question is the Egg Salad Sandwich, packaged in a 7.22oz (205g) clamshell for individual sale, with the UPC 766375938415. The batch under recall has a use-by date of 03/23/2024. A total of 551 units have been recalled.
Do not consume recalled products to which you are allergic or sensitive as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction; and do not serve, use, sell, or distribute recalled products and return them to the store where it was purchased.

Mother and I ate lunch there on Thursday, 2.30pm booking. She had the chicken starter, chicken and prawn main and fruit soup. At approx 6pm she was feeling nauseous with diarrhoea. Went back to our hotel where she was violently sick twice through the night, last time
at approx 10.30pm.
I had a different meal but did try a few forkfuls of her starter. I also had diarrhoea and was sick through the night. Right after drinking my strawberry kid size smoothie. Right after finishing it with in 15 min. I instantly had a light diarrhea. Then I was quickly able to hold the rest till I got to the bathroom. I was at work too which makes it very embarrassing to have to deal with.

I will make an appointment to confirm with my doctor tomorrow. I was not going to go through the hassle until the manager at Sabrro completely dismissed the possibility that I got sick from there. I teach the food safety manager courses, I know the rules, I
know it is possible for me to have gotten sick. I did not appreciate her dismissal. I had severe vomiting and diarrhea for the past 2 days. When I initially bit into my pepperoni Stromboli it was cold. It's possible I did not get sick from there, but they were the only place I ate from up to that point. So now I am attempting to prove it , and bring it to upper management about their lack of understanding and dismissal of my concern.
