Very unfortunate , entire resort stores were out of Pepto and stomach pain medication, others we spoke with had stomach issues as well..
On site Medic wanted about $200 to see us and prescribe something.. We ended up ordering medicine from a local pharmacy to deliver for $60

an ambulance. I received 4 bags of IV which did not help. I started feeling like weak at the airport. I traced my illness to the one thing no one else in my family consumed. It was a prepared little alcoholic slushy drink at the lobby set on a tray at checkout on our way out. The onset of action was pretty quick as I felt feverish at the airport. tip the cleaning people if you wanted anything done. One person on our trip was in the bathroom constantly after drinking and eating at the buffet and stayed sick for the remainder. My bed felt like it had bed bugs but no one else was getting bit. I was incredibly nauseous in my room with the constant smell. I complained but nothing was done. They hassle you to buy their timeshare the whole time waking you from your sleep at 6 in the morning just to sell you it trying to set up a breakfast to sell it. Never went to the breakfast after explicitly telling them to leave us be. The concierge comes on to you in a inappropriate way especially being that I’m a young girl it was uncomfortable. When I returned home my itching ceased. Almost positive it wasn’t bed bugs but a rash to some type of pesticides (the mold smell) in my room.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Skin Rash, Itching

and I had diahrea. I didnt think much of it but then I had to go again this time to vomit. After committing I felt better. But then I got a fever and stayed in my room all day the next day. Later that night I had a little more energy and was able to enjoy the night show but was a bit fatigue from vomiting and diahrea. I still ate the rest of the days and stayed away from the chicken. However, I still returned to and had no complaints. Just not La Romana. This happened to me 6 years ago and I still get the after affects from that day. Doctor's here could not do anything for but said its common for stomach to go through trauma and habe after affects from it. My hearts go out to those who have lost their love ones . but I too believe I had something similar to these cases.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Vomiting
