    Blue cheese, like other soft cheeses, can be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum, Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus aureus, causing food poisoning. Symptoms of food poisoning generally appear within 6 hours of consuming infected blue cheese. They may include nausea, vomiting, cramps, and diarrhea.

    On 9/20 for dinner, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on a lettuce wrap instead of a bun (with lettuce, tomato, and a slice of cheese), and a customized side salad with eggs, blue cheese, and light Italian.
