Chips Food Poisoning

It is possible to get food poisoning from chips and other packaged foods. The biggest risk of chips food poisoning comes from salmonella. Symptoms of Salmonella poisoning usually begin between 12-72 hours after eating and include bloody diarrhea, cramping, fever, and muscle aches.

noticed some of the chips tasted funny, like soap… by the time the taste set in I had eaten half the nachos because it wasn’t every chip that tasted like that. I stopped eating tossed out my To go tray and ate my chips and Queso which which tasted fine. I am assuming the plain chips on the nachos had the off taste but not sure as my nachos were loaded. About 3 hours after eating I was nauseous, then diarrhea and vomiting profusely with a bad headache and stomach cramps. chips and spicy wings but when I was throwing up I felt the burn from the spice, which you feel when you eat it, I also, could taste the Morley’s ‘smell’ which the shop has. and the meal was waiting on my selected table upon my return. That same night, all my food was brought up after eating about 2:30 - 3:00 pm. In addition, a small meal of quich plus chips, peas, tinned tomatatoes eaten around 7pm was also brought up later on that night. Sickness takes form of a gassy stomack and nausia that increases from late evening tboughout night. Clearing this food brings relief and second clearence allows for good sleep when before you are simply waiting to vomit. I eat out twice that day. First time was a simple two rasher bacon sandwitch that morning around 11:30-12:00 mid-day. Nothing untoward about prep time and well cooked bacon. I had also visited a hospital to collect meds that day and always washed my hands after visiting a toilet. I recognised the Five bean Chilli.
