IPA whilst waiting on my food to arrive. The server at the bar offered me a free, Negra Modelo 32oz mug free of charge. He said it was poured in error for another patron. My food arrived and it didn’t look like the typical fajitas I was used to. It was chopped and lacked the flavor & quality this establishment is known for. I only ate one fajita, rice and pinto beans before paying my bill. The next morning around 7AM I was experiencing diarrhea and an upset stomach. The symptoms of upset stomach are still affecting me daily. I have been watching my diet and even tried a liquid diet for a week, nothing has worked. starting at 6:30 a.m. I contacted my endocrinologist and she prescribed Zofran, a sublingual medication used to stop vomiting. The vomiting continued as well as severe diarrhea, cold sweats, and stomach cramping. The ketones in my urine were increasing, which is dangerous for a Type 1 diabetic. I was unable to keep liquids down and was severely dehydrated. I was sent to the hospital and was on fluids as well as medication and constant monitoring. At some point, I was experiencing tachycardia and low potassium levels, both pretty dangerous.
