Deli meats such as ham can cause food poisoning. Ham can become contaminated with harmful bacteria including Listeria and Staph during processing. Listeria is the most common cause of ham food poisoning and symptoms can include fever, chills, muscle aches, nausea, and diarrhea

Citation issued 7-38-030(c) a 2-day notice was given to come into compliance.

Management instructed to disclose and describe which food can be order raw or undercooked and link those items to reminder statement. Priority foundation violation 7-38-005 citation issued.

- comments: observed 2-door front pizza cooler with air temperature of 57. 1f inside the unit. Cooler was used to stored tcs foods. Instructed to repair cooler that maintains temperature of 41. 0f or below. Priority violation 7-38-005. Citation issued. Unit tagged held for inspection.

- comments: observed wiping cloths stored on top of prep tables and dish washing machine. Must properly stored wiping cloths in a sanitizing solution when not in use.

Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.

The product best by date can be found on the bottom of the retail box. A photograph of the package can be found below.

Finished product testing on the mango bars revealed that the finished product may contain Salmonella. The company has ceased distribution of the affected product. The company is conducting an investigation as to what caused the problem and will take effective action to prevent any future issue.

Consumers who have the affected product should not consume this product.

Manager voluntarily discarded a total of 115 lbs of food at a total value of $250 dollars. Priority violation, 7-38-005. Citaiton issued.

Manager was able to corrected problem by turning on the unit. Presently air temp of 38. 7f priority violation:7-38-005,citation issued.
