Potato Food Poisoning

Contaminated potatoes can cause food poisoning. Clostridium botulinum has been linked to baked potatoes as the bacteria can survive the cooking process. Mishandled potatoes can contain high levels of glycoalkaloids that can cause food poisoning symptoms such as diarrhea, and vomiting within 30 mins.

Felt perfectly fine before, didn’t eat anything worrisome that day. KLM offered only “spicy chicken” (chicken, potatoes and rice), no vegetarian option. After 30min started with diarrhoea and vomiting. 11hr flight completely horrible.

the drive threw; I went home to eat. My stomach felt full so I stopped about 20 -30 minutes in the meal; I felt sick. I went to the bathroom to use it. I was sweating , chills and fever and I was vomiting. I felt dizzy and the cramps were so bad. The meal had Wendy's chili in it while I ate the salad, it was on the side but i put it in. Its a part of the salad.. I believe it was the orange creme frosty and the chili in the meal that had me vomiting. I still feel nausea from after I puked. Wendy's in lebanon , pa is known for making people sick but this was horrible; It felt like I was dying it hurt do bad. The cramping and the vomiting. I vomited 10 times with in the 20-30 minutes. I lost so much fluid; I had to drink pedilite to keep my hydration up. The salad never made me sick; the back potato was dried out. It tasted funny. I hardly ate that. But that chili had a weird taste to it also . I thought it was Normal because they use the burger meat from the nite before; I believe it was the grease from the chili. The milk from the creme frosty as well. I still feel sick. I will have to go to the emergency room if the vomiting does not stop. Threw outthe nite I was back and girth to the bathroom I vomited over 20 times threw out the nite. It's not getting better.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Sweating, Dizziness
