Sausage Food Poisoning

You can get food poisoning from sausage made from beef, pork, chicken, and more. Pre-cooked sausage can contain listeria. Uncooked sausage can be contaminated by E.coli especially if not cooked all the way through. Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, and bloody diarrhea.

it was refrigerated. Didn't get anything crazy on it, just pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, olives, cucumbers, onions, mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, and that's it. Immediately the next day I started to have chills and I knew something bad was coming. Led into a multi-day fever, and 6 days of pure liquid #2 in the bathroom with mega cramps from loss of electrolytes. my rental car I became sick and started to vomit at the rental return at the airport. My 2yr old granddaughter also became ill as well. I had to get an IV as I was dehydrated from all the vomiting and diarrhea. I put the remaining pizza in a ziplocked bag and froze it.
